This winter will be the first time in 14 years that I'll spend an entire winter in a place where it snows and gets cold. So seeing the snow in The Ridge this morning took me back to my childhood when my mom would make me put plastic bread bags on my feet before I put on my boots. I was happy to ditch the bags for my LL Bean insulated boots. I'm such a winter wuss.
