IT'S BAAACK!

The Bay Ridge Greenmarket returns on Saturday, May 2nd, baby!

That's right. The market was so successful last year that it's coming back for more.

Every Saturday, May through December, you can get fresh picked fruits and vegetables, beautiful plants and flowers, grass-fed meat and dairy products, wild-caught fish, amazing eggs, and delicious baked goods. Mmmm, baked goods.

The Greenmarket is also planning fun, free events such as cooking demonstrations, raffles, and kids & family friendly activities all season long.

Come talk to the farmers who grow your food, meet your neighbors, bring a friend, and taste the difference at your neighborhood Greenmarket!

The Bay Ridge Greenmarket is located at 3rd Ave and 95th St, and is open from 8am - 3pm every Saturday, May through December.

EBT/Food Stamps (June – November) and WIC & Senior Farmers Market Nutrition checks are accepted.

I hope all that old Key Food asbestos abatement is either wrapped up or at least sealed up tightly.

Fresh veggies with the hint of asbestos...delish!

It's good to know that Greenmarkets are reopening once more, they're just what the people need right now. I'm all for organic greens, and the cooking demos seem like so much fun. It's also fantastic that stuff like EBT cards are accepted since it's the recession.

I'm sorry but avoid this one at all costs. I went with my girl friend and they had a plant seller, a cheese seller and a bread seller.... and that was about it...
