Joe the Plumber and Elizabeth Hasselbeck!? That's who McCain and Palin have campaigning for them now!? A plumber and a reality show loser?

Seriously folks, the 2008 election has just taken a major turn into the land of the absurd. It's ridiculous and pathetic. What do Joe and Elizabeth know about the intricacies of running our country? If McCain is elected, will Joe be named Ambassador to Crapland?

In Ohio today, a man asked Joe the Plumber if "a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel."

Joe the suddenly expert on everything Plumber responded, "I'll go ahead and agree with you on that."

What the f@*k!?

Two days after Palin said she was tired of "Joe the Plumber" references

Alaska governor conceded she was getting a little tired of talking about Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbach. “And I, I begged our speech writers, ‘Don’t make me say Joe the Plumber, please, in any speeches.'

Palin flip-flopped and dove headfirst back into the moniker melee.

Tito the builder, Phil the bricklayer and Rose the teacher.

These are simple Americans with simple names. None more than 4-letters.

But what about Pam the whore, John the douchebag, Sue the junky? Bob the deadbeat, Fred the gassy, Fran the carpet cleaner?

But then Palin unleashed her coup de grace

Barack the Wealth Spender.

That's right. Oh snap! Barak the Wealth Spender. Take that Obama!

Who the hell is writing these for her? Those third graders at Gladys Wood Elementary School?

So my question is: what should Palin's moniker be?

LAYING ILLEGAL PIPE

I saw this in the comments (thanks Rob K) on the Brit's site and it made me laugh.

It seems Joe the Plumber has been laying pipe without a license.

The infamous Joe the Plumber from the third debate doesn't have a plumbing license. Either does his boss. Joe says he doesn't need one, but

the county Wurzelbacher and his employer live in, Lucas County, requires plumbers to have licenses. Neither Wurzelbacher nor his employer are licensed there, said Cheryl Schimming of Lucas County Building Regulations

Joe is worried that someday, if he buys the company, and if the company makes more than $250,000.00 annually, his taxes will go from 36% to 39% under the Obama tax plan. And it's true.

But right now Joe isn't making $250,000.00 so he won't see an increase in his taxes under the Obama tax plan.

"If you believed (Obama), I'd be receiving his tax cuts," Wurzelbacher said. "But I don't look at it that way. He'd still be hurting others."

Hurting others? Hurting small businesses that make over $250,000.00? And exactly how does Joe think the government pays for the military he's so fond of?

Wurzelbacher indicated to reporters who crowded around that he was a conservative, a fan of the military and McCain.

And infrastructure? And a long list of things that keep our country going?

No wonder Joe the Plumber is worried about his taxes.

Wurzelbacher owes the state of Ohio $1,182.98 in personal income tax, according to Lucas County Court of Common Pleas records. In January 2007, Ohio's Department of Taxation filed a claim on his property until he pays the debt, according to the records. The lien remains active.

I wonder if McCain will offer to pay.
