I GOT YOUR RECESSION RIGHT HERE

With the recession reeking havoc on our worldwide economy, I decided to start another blog about how to survive in these trying times.

I Got Your Recession Right Here
is the new blog. If you have any money saving tips, please send them in.

For now, here's the first entry:

With this blog I'm going to attempt to post tips and articles on how to survive the current recession.

And out of the gates are two free meal deals:

Deal #1: IHOP/National Pancake Days. On Tuesday, Feb. 24th, from 7:00am to 10:00pm, IHOP will be giving away free short stack buttermilk pancakes. Find three IHOPs near you and you've got all three meals covered.

Deal #2: Quiznos is giving away 1 million coupons good for a free sub via their million subs website. So far they've given away 184,195 subs.

BEN SHERLOCK BERNANKE

Today's winner of the No Shit Sherlock Award is Federal Reserve chairman, Ben S. Bernanke, who hinted today -- he actually didn't come right out and say it -- but hinted that we are possibly heading into a recession.

Ya think?

And the International Monetary Fund is about to announce that our once powerful economy
faces a painful recession that will be deeper than the downturn at the start of this decade and the most severe since the early Nineties.
The IMF went on to say that 2008 will be
the weakest year for the US economy since the recession of 1991.
So -- um -- who was President of the US at the start of this decade?

That's right -- Wanker.

And geez, let me see, who was President in 1991?

You've got to be kidding me!?

Thank you, Bush family, for 12 fantastic years!
