A READER SHOUT-OUT

I'd like to give a little shout-out today to Rob K. Rob joins one other person as a reader of this blog. But that's not the reason I'm giving him the spotlight today.

What I admire about Rob is that when he leaves comments here, he has the balls to use his actual blogger profile. No hiding behind "anonymous" or some made up profile.

Not everyone will agree with what he has to say, he's a liberal after all, but he's up front about who he is and his views.

And if you do like what he has to say, visit his blog, The Luna Park Gazette.

Why, Mark, thanks so much for the shout-out.

It was quite a shock clicking on to your blog and seeing my mug looking back at me.

I'm glad I was sitting down. (at the office, but that's our little secret.)

Thanks again and take care,

Rob (K)

Hey,

I'm not a fan of either one of your blogs, but I like the fact you're both who you are, letting it all hang out. You two are like a bad buddy move. Like the one with Clint Eastwood and that monkey, 'Every Which Way but Loose?' Rob, you're the orangutan, Mark is Clint Eastwood. Mark has to be, because Rob is bald and more closely resembles an orangutan.

Why, thanks, Homer.

Clyde was a better actor than Clint...and much better looking.

hey, this post made me want to come out of my anonymous identity. i'm the progressive/lefty who commented on your "let me get this straight" obama post. its not always easy being a lefty in bay ridge, i see you get a lot of grief from anonymous commentors in response to your political posts. just wanted to say, again, i'm really digging your blog.

i've added a link to you on my blog. i mostly write about books, not very exciting, but i like to keep links of my favorite pages.

peace,
theresa

Hey, Theresa: my aunt has a vacation home in the Berkshires and we go to the Book Mill all the time.

I love that place! So glad you came out of your anonymous identity.
