BARACK OBAMA

11:18. McCain concedes. His supporters boo. But McCain shows a lot of class.

Barack Obama is the next President of the United States.

Yes, he's a genuine class act.

So's the crowd -- none of the GOP's trad Leni-Riefenstahl-ish thuggy-roaring triumphalism.

It's a great day.

The Patriot, by John Williams. Oh dear... he'd be turning in his grave - if he was actually not alive.

Of course a hundred thousand endorsements can't be wrong:

The neo-clowns threw everything they could at Barack and he still beat them.

Yes, we can and, hell, yes, we did!

God bless America!

My wife and I sat on the couch last night watching state after state turn blue, and we couldn't stop grinning. Not only a victory, but a freakin' blowout!

So what are you going to blog about now that the election is over?

I'm hopeful that Americans also were voting against now-normative GOP nastiness -- that they reached their saturation point with trash-robocalls, "accidental" defamation, woo-woo scare stories, creative bigotry, dirty tricks, and doom-obsessed sickies putting political spins on the Antichrist, Lucifer, numerology, b.s. psychic crap, and alleged personal-revelations-from-God.

Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for the next Jimmy Carter!

But, its ok this time around because he's black and we just want to feel progressive cause we voted in a black man instead of voting in someone who can make a difference.

Sheep. All of you.
