DISTORTED VIEW

"Say it ain’t so, Joe, there you go again pointing backwards again."

But it seems McCain/Palin can point backwards, 40 years ago, to William Ayers.

How come they can point backwards and Biden can't bring up the current administration?

Anyway, McCain/Palin continue to try and portray Obama as sipping cherry cokes together with Ayers. It's outlandish. It's old news. And it's false.
Verdict: False. There is no indication that Ayers and Obama are now "palling around," or that they have had an ongoing relationship in the past three years. Also, there is nothing to suggest that Ayers is now involved in terrorist activity or that other Obama associates are.
But that isn't stopping this smear campaign.

And now it has spilled over to The View, where Elisabeth Hasselbeck is all sorts of wrong. She thinks Ayers is still a terrorist and said "we didn't do enough bombing."
A book Ayers penned about those years, Fugitive Days, landed him in hot water on Sept. 11, 2001. That morning, the New York Times ran a story about the book in which Ayers said, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." Ayers' statement was made before the World Trade Center attacks, but its timing led some to believe it was in response. "My book is in fact a condemnation of terrorism in all its forms -- individual, group and official," Ayers later said in a letter to the Chicago Tribune.
It's going to be an ugly month.

*UGH*

Could you being the unfortunate soul who has to try and bring Elisabeth Hasselbeck to orgasm?

I'd rather beat myself in the nuts with a ball-peen hammer.

Could you imagine having to be the unfortunate soul who has to bring Barbara Walters to orgasm?

Oh, wait, wasn't that Adam Clayton Powell? Who knew he was such a stud!

I guess that only leaves John McCain to bring Elisabeth Hasselbeck to orgasm.

First, Left in Brooklyn - I think your anonymous comm enters top those of Brooklyn Brownstone.

Second, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a knucklehead. Ugh...The View producers must cringe when she talks. But I love when Barbara Walters puts Elizabeth on the spot. Elizabeth then answers Walters question with a question.
